An Online Conference on Future Energy was held at S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University using the G-Global communication platform.

The Conference was organized by the Department of Electrical Power Engineering of S. Toraighyrov PSU.

Representatives from S. Seifullin Kazakh Agro Technical University, Karaganda State Industrial University, and Rudny Industrial Institute took part in this Conference. The aim of the event was to establish effective cooperation in the field of development of renewable energy sources, exchange of information, and carrying out joint research.

Under the existing agreements on cooperation in the field of educational services, specialists training and research, participants of the Conference discussed current problems in the use of renewable energy. The Conference was devoted to the discussion of wind energy development in Kazakhstan, as well as methods and tools for improving the efficiency of wind and solar power stations.

In his opening speech, Head of the Department of Electrical Power Engineering, Candidate of Engineering Sciences Vadim Markovskiy emphasized the importance of renewable energy development in our region. Some of the reports were made by Master's degree students of the Department of Electrical Power Engineering (Sultan Babashev, Gulmira Isamadiyeva and Dauren Beysenbayev). Sultanbek Isenov, Dean of the Faculty of Power Engineering at S. Seifullin Kazakh Agro Technical University, Aset Khabdullin, Dean of the Faculty of Power Engineering at Rudny Industrial Institute, Galina Sivyakova, Head of the Department of Electrical Power Engineering and Automation at Karaganda State Industrial University, and Serik Zhumazhanov, Associate Professor of the Department of Electrical Power Engineering at S. Toraighyrov PSU, actively participated in the discussion.

It is expected that this Conference will contribute to the development of renewable energy, implementation of research results in the educational process and their application in the industry.
