The final stage of the 2015 Student Talents Show competition among students of universities and colleges of Pavlodar took place in the concert hall of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.

The competition was organized by the Student Union and Department of Education and Social Affairs of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.

The competition was held as a part of the celebration of the 550th anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate. Its motto was "My Success is the Country's Success".

Dana Mukhametzhanova, Head of the Division of Education and Social Affairs, says that the University has many talented creative teams and many of them are still unheard of. “All students are talented in their own ways; today there were many songs, dances, recitations of poems, and instrumental performances. Each performance was unique,” she said.

Student Talents Show is a festival of amateur students’ creativity. It is held on an annual basis and every year most talented students compete in several categories, such as choreography, singing, standup, etc.

The Youth of the Caucasus dancing band composed of S. Toraighyrov PSU students won the Grand Prix. Their performance combined beautiful music with a fresh look at the whole concept of a dancing performance. Denis Zalygayev from B. Akhmetov Pavlodar Pedagogical College won the first prize. All spectators enjoyed listening to Murat Margulan and Abdusat Yerbolat who took the second place. Finally, members of the New Nation band received the third prize.

Participants of the competition received not only countless rounds of applause, but also letters of appreciation and gifts.
