The “Bilim+” project has become one of the most topical and popular projects.
“The secret of this project's success is that it has been implemented by a team of like-minded specialists: academic staff members, deans of faculties, members of the Regional Scientific and Practical Center for the Study of Interethnic and Interfaith Processes, as well as members of many structural units of this university,” says Ye.M. Rakhimzhanov, Head of the Office for Religious Affairs of the region. He awarded a diploma and letter of appreciation to S. Omirbayev, academic staff and students of the University for mutually beneficial cooperation and active participation in the implementation of the state policy in the field of religious education of young people.
At the end of the presentation, all participants of the project received letters of appreciation and certificates.
According to Nurzhamal Tyshkanova, Head of the Center, owing to Bilim+, many students got the knowledge about the processes taking place in the religious sphere and the skills of countering the ideology of destructive cults. Introducing young people to their roots by means of teaching them the customs and traditions of their ancestors has a positive influence on the formation of spiritual, moral and religious values. “We can say that this project has become an important step for the further study and systematization of knowledge about the processes occurring in the ethnic and religious spheres,” she said.
It's safe to say that all the tasks of this project have been fulfilled successfully. Its main result is establishment of special information groups on increasing religious literacy at each faculty of the University.
