Vladimir Bobrov, a member of the Senate of the RK Parliament, and Aynur Sospanova, the Director of the Department of the Ministry of Energy, visited S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University to explain some specific aspects of N.A. Nazarbayev's Address “Nurly Zhol, the Way to the Future”.

The meeting was attended by the administration of the University, deans of faculties, heads of structural units, undergraduate and postgraduate students of PSU.

Arman Akishev, the Vice-Rector for Development Strategy, Educational and Social Affairs of S. Toraighyrov PSU, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor, told about extensive work on the development and implementation of innovative research projects conducted at the University. “The President instructed to fill the outlined tasks with real projects. Today, we can confidently say that our academics take an active part in this process,” said Arman Akishev.

Vladimir Bobrov, who graduated from S. Toraighyrov PSU (formerly known as Pavlodar Industrial Institute) with a qualification of an electrical engineer, emphasized the role of PSU scientists in the development of our region: “Ensuring high standards of education is a key to socio-economic development of the country. PSU has a great scientific and innovative potential, which is based on knowledge, achievements and technologies, and it definitely makes a great contribution to the development of Pavlodar region.”

Participants of the meeting discussed many topical issues and expressed their opinions and suggestions on specific problems. Academic staff, members of structural units and students of the University asked their questions and received full answers from the guests.
