Besides, all activities are realized through a modular system, which implies involvement of a large number of students and their active participation in public life of the University, regional and national events. “Participation in students' education is the professional responsibility of each academic and support staff member of any university. One of the ways for students to take part in research activities is to perform projects under the Zhas Ghalym program or within research grant schemes supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The University has 38 research associations, 1 student design bureau and the Center for Student Innovations at the Yertis science and technology park.

The speaker also emphasized the significance of international research conferences held by PSU, both for the University and entire region. By taking part in such events, students get an opportunity to publish the results of their research, make presentations and reports, meet like-minded fellow students and find their way in the world of science.
Forum participants noted the importance of proper organization of the educational process, the ultimate goal of which is to help students become not only highly-skilled experts in their professional fields, but also socially active patriots with firm commitment to high moral values.
