Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Professor of S. Toraighyrov PSU Abylkhan Karakayev held a presentation of the results of his research activities for members of the business community.

The event was organized by the Office for Industrial and Innovative Development of the region in cooperation with the Regional Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer of S. Toraighyrov PSU.

The main purpose of such business meetings is to identify the most promising research projects and bringing them to the attention of entrepreneurs, investors and business angels.

Abylkhan Karakayev is the author of more than 1,000 research and educational publications, 3 monographs, and 20 study guides. He also has 90 author's certificates, USSR, RK and RF patents. In 2014, he received yet another reward for his outstanding inventive activities as a member of the University team that won the Shapaghat national contest for inventors. Abylkhan Karakayev was one of the best participants of that contest in the Most Active Inventor nomination. He also won the national competition of innovative business plans entitled 'Innovation Boost'.

Abylkhan Karakayev presented 7 research results protected by patents: Fuel Injection Equipment with a Hydrolock Nozzle; the Fuel System of an Internal Combustion Engine; Leakproof Nozzle; Nozzle for Stepped Injection of Fuel. He also made a report on the method of modification of diesel fuel system.

Such events serve as a platform for open and direct interaction between experts of the scientific community with the authorities and business entities, help remove administrative barriers and promote research results on the market.

‘Such a dialog between representatives of business and science can become a motivating tool for the development of an effective innovation-based economy,’ said Abylkhan Karakayev. The parties agreed on further cooperation and joint work on implementation of research projects.
