S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University held an awarding ceremony for its academic and support staff members during the Academic Council session which was devoted to the Constitution Day.

Opening the session, the Rector of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Serik Omirbayev congratulated all participants of the event on the upcoming holiday and noted that the Constitution is the fundamental law of the country, which serves as the foundation for all the achievements, the guarantor of equal rights and opportunities in Kazakhstan. 'Today, our main goal is to strengthen the unity and cohesion of the multi-ethnic people of Kazakhstan, enhance civic responsibility, improve our citizens' well-being, preserve peace and stability in the society,' said Serik Omirbayev.

During the session, Serik Omirbayev presented awards to the University's academic and auxiliary staff members for their contribution to the development of science and our University.

Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Professor of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Automation Mark Kletsel received a badge of an Honored Worker of Education. Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor of the Department of Biology and Ecology Ulykpan Kaman and Candidate of Engineering Sciences, Professor of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Standardization Ivan Shumeyko received badges for contribution to the development of science. Candidate of Engineering Sciences, Professor of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Automation Raisa Mustafina and Candidate of Engineering Sciences, Professor of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Automation Amangeldy Tastenov received Y. Altynsarin badges.

Director of the Department of Economics and Finance Tatyana Koftanyuk, Head of the Department of International Cooperation Akmaral Kairbaeva, and senior lecturer of the Department of Economics Galina Boyko received certificates of honor from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
