I International Youth Online Conference on Modern Problems of the Tourist Industry Development (Collective Accommodation Facilities) was held for students and academic staff members of the Department of Geography and Tourism of S. Toraighyrov PSU.

Dean of the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Natural Sciences, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Kanat Akhmetov stressed the importance of exchanging academic experiences and developing cooperation between universities.

Among the participants of the Conference were prominent scientists from Altai State University (Barnaul), Novosibirsk State University of Economics and Management (Novosibirsk), as well as the leading researchers of Baltic Federal University of Immanuel Kant (Kaliningrad) and Pavlodar State University (Pavlodar).

The Conference was organized by Altai State University (Barnaul) and moderated by Candidate of Geographic Sciences, Head of the Department of Recreational Geography, Tourism and Regional Marketing of AltSU Alexandr Redkin. Senior lecturer of the Department of Geography and Tourism Gulmarzhan Kasenova was the moderator at PSU.

Undergraduate and graduate students of S. Toraighyrov PSU made reports and presentations during the Conference. Master's degree student of the Department of Geography and Tourism of S. Toraighyrov PSU Viktoriya Sendetskaya made a report on the Model of a Modern Hospitality Industry Manager; Bachelor's degree student Darya Mulyavka (G-202) addressed the issues of using modern technology in the hotels of Kazakhstan.

Conference participants made a unanimous decision to continue international cooperation and hold such international online conference on an annual basis which will have a positive impact on the formation of the tourist image of Russia and Kazakhstan.
