Directors and members of museums from Germany, Kyrgyzstan and Russia visited Pavlodar State University under the International Socio-cultural and Educational Project “Actualization of Cultural Heritage in Asian Countries”.

The Cultural Heritage state program was initiated by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.

The program provides for the establishment of an integrated system for the research of great cultural heritage of the people, including the modern national culture, folklore, traditions and customs; reconstruction of historical, cultural and architectural monuments of particular importance to the nation's history; generalization of centuries-old experience of the national literature and writing; creation of the educational fund in humanities based on the best achievements of world science, culture and literature in the state language.

Among the guests were Vieregg Hildegard, Ph.D., Professor of University of Philosophy in Munich, President of the International Committee for Museology of International Council of Museums (Munich, Germany); Almakan Nayzabekova, Director of the Central Asian Network for Culture and Art Corporation (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan); Lyudmila Stavskaya, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Professor of Kyrgyz-Russian-Slavic University (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan); Dmitriy Simonov, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Senior Research Fellow, Department of History and Sociopolitical Development, Institute of History, RAS (Novosibirsk, Russia) and Irina Chuvilova, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Head of the sector of Museum Encyclopedia of the Heritage research center (Moscow, Russia).

Vice-Rector for Development Strategy, Educational and Social Affairs of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University Arman Akishev held a tour for the guests and told them about the museum complex of the University. Director of S. Beysembayev Scientific Library of Pavlodar State University Saida Isamadiyeva told about the Cultural Heritage exhibition. She also demonstrated Kazakhstan editions and series of works by PSU scientists under the Cultural Heritage program.

S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University developed websites devoted to great figures of the Pavlodar region to support the Cultural Heritage program. These are websites telling about the life and work of Bukhar Zhyrau Kalkamanuly, Mashkhur-Zhusup Kopeyev, Zhusupbek Aymautov, Sultanmakhmut Torayghyrov, Isa Bayzakov, Abiken Bekturov, Alkey Margulan, Kalizhan Bekkhozhin and Yermukhan Bekmakhanov.
