The members of the teaching staff of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University won the competition for the title of the Best University Teacher in 2013.

The Best University Teacher competition was organized by the order of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. It helps teachers to realize their creative potential and expand international cooperation. It also contributes to professional development and re-training of specialists in accordance with the requirements of international conventions on new areas of science, engineering and technology.

Among the competition winners, there are 3 members of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University: Associate Professor of the Department of Finance, Candidate of Economic Sciences Alfiya Salikhova; Associate Professor of the Department of Heat Power Engineering, Candidate of Engineering Sciences, Yevgeniy Prikhodko, Associate Professor of the Department of Kazakh Philology, Candidate of Philological Sciences Bakhytzhan Kadyrova.

This victory in the Best University Teacher competition provides an additional impetus for PSU scientists to make their contribution to the formation of unique high-quality educational systems in accordance with the order given by the President N.A. Nazarbayev in his Address to the People of Kazakhstan “Kazakhstan’s Way-2050: the Common Goal, Common Interests and Common Future”.

The received grants will help our scientists continue their research activities, as a victory in this competition enables teachers to have an overseas training in leading universities of the world. Besides, the winners will be able to have scientific internships and participate in national and international scientific conferences, symposia, congresses and seminars devoted to their research fields and organization of the educational process, which will contribute to the implementation of joint projects and exchange of experience between scientists and specialists in various fields of education.
