On November 18, 2013, S. Toraighyrov PSU has launched a set of events devoted to the celebration of the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Leader of the Nation Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev.

A series of lectures has been given to the undergraduate and postgraduate students of the University by Candidate of Juridical Sciences B.Kh. Olzhabayev and Candidate of Historical Sciences T.N. Zozulya. The lectures were held on the following topics: "The Role of the First President of Kazakhstan in the Formation of Statehood" and "The History of the Formation of the State".

From November 20 to December 28, 2013, the University holds a competition of student works on the themes: "Nazarbayev as the Founder of the State Independence of Kazakhstan", "Leader of the Nation", "Social Modernization of Society", etc.

A round-table conference themed "The President as the Guarantor of Prosperity and Independence of Kazakhstan" will take place on November 25, 2013.

A book exhibition entitled "The Leader of a New Era" has started in the lobby of the main building of S. Toraighyrov PSU on November 25, 2013. Its purpose is to highlight the historical role of the country's Leader in the formation and development of independent Kazakhstan. The exhibition was prepared by the staff of the Scientific Library of the University. Over 400 books and periodicals from the book fund of the library are displayed on the exhibition.

The exhibition consists of seven sections. The first section is «Менің Қазақстаным – менің келешегім» ("My Kazakhstan is My Future"). It is devoted to the history of the Republic of Kazakhstan and its independence.

The section entitled «Н.Ә. Назарбаевтың еңбектері» ("Works by N.A. Nazarbayev") includes books, reports, articles, interviews, speeches, addresses, messages, greetings and congratulations of the President.

The section named «Н. Назарбаевтың өмірі мен қызметі» ("The Life and Work of N. Nazarbayev") contains information about the life of the Leader of the Nation, the beginning of his professional career, years of study, his development as a statesman and a politician.

The section entitled «Мемлекет және Президент» ("The State and the President") tells about the state governance and structure of Kazakhstan, its legislative and legal policy, and the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It also provides data on the economic and socio-political life of the country, development of civil society, as well as the relations of Kazakhstan with other countries and participation in international organizations, such as SCO, CICA, EAU, and the OSCE chairmanship.

The «Н. Ә. Назарбаев – ел бірлігінің негізін қалаушы» ("N.A. Nazarbayev as a Symbol of Tolerance and Inter-ethnic Harmony") section is devoted to the phenomenon of Kazakhstan interethnic and interreligious harmony recognized all over the world.

The «Президент және жастар» ("The President and the Youth") section contains materials on the implementation of the state youth policy, legal documents, the state program for development of education for the period of 2011-2020, materials on the activities of the Zhas Otan youth wing, as well as the works published under the Ethno-cultural Research and Madeni Mura (Cultural Heritage) programs at S. Toraighyrov PSU. They all have played an important role in the spiritual and moral education of the youth, development of patriotism and love for the motherland.

The final section entitled «Н. Назарбаев – Ғасыр Адамы» (“N. Nazarbayev as the Man of the Century”) is represented by books and the medal with the symbol of Bayterek presented by the President to the library of S. Toraighyrov PSU in 2003, as well the materials containing information about what other world leaders say about Nursultan Nazarbayev.

The exhibition will be held in Pavlodar State University until December 1, 2013.

A movie about the life of Nursultan Nazarbayev ("The Sky of My Childhood") will be shown on November 28, 2013.

Within the program of sporting events, there will be a relay race under the motto "Healthy Nation with a Healthful Mind". On the same day, an intellectual game will be held. It will be entirely devoted to the First President.

The events held at S. Toraighyrov PSU within the celebration of the Day of the First President are aimed to emphasize the historical role and significance of Nursultan Nazarbayev in the formation and development of the Republic of Kazakhstan as an independent and dynamic state.
