A regional seminar-conference entitled “Social Harmony and National Unity of the People of Kazakhstan: the Conceptual Framework, Institutions and Implementation Mechanism” was held at S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University on October 30, 2013.
The purpose of this event is discussion of topical issues in the field of the study of the national unity of the people of Kazakhstan and social harmony.

Amanzholov East Kazakhstan State University, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Alibek Kuvandykov; Head of the Department of Internal Policy of the Pavlodar region Bauyrzhan Kapenov; Deputy Chairman of the Pavlodar Branch of Assembly of People of Kazakhstan Seysembay Zhetpisbayev, Acting Head of the Department of Youth Policy of the Pavlodar region Meirzhan Zhanuzakov.
Among the honorary guests and participants of the seminar-conference was the Vice-rector for International Cooperation and Education of Semey State University named after Shakarim, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Bakhyt Atantayeva; Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy and Human Development Problems of D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan State Technical University Bakytgul Mamykanova; Director of the Department for Religious Affairs of the Pavlodar region Yerzhan Rakhimzhanov; Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Deapartment of History of Kazakhstan and Foreign Countries of Pavlodar State Pedagogical Institute Asel Amanova.
During the seminar-conference, its participants discussed the problems of ethnic and religious policies implementation in the student community, multi-ethnicity as a factor of socio-political development, state policy in the field of regulation of inter-ethnic relations in Kazakhstan.
Many problems related to social harmony and national unity were discussed during this event.
