Students of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University Sagynysh Nurkimbayev (Department of Machine Building and Standardization, Faculty of Metallurgy, Machine Building and Transport) and Aygerim Mananbayeva (Department of Management, Faculty of Finance and Economics) won the national contest for the student scholarships established by the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Leader of the Nation (Almaty).

This year, the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Leader of the Nation holds this contest for the fourth time. 80 scholarships were established to encourage academic, scientific and creative activity of students. Only the full-time university students with good academic performance and achievements in the social, scientific and cultural spheres, as well as in their own professional fields are eligible for participation in the contest, provided that these achievements are supported by reports, publications, participation and victories in intellectual Olympiads and creative competitions.

The students of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University Sagynysh Nurkimbayev and Aygerim Mananbayeva totally meet the stated requirements, so they were among the first winners announced at the awarding ceremony which was attended by famous people in the field of science and arts.

The scholarships from the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Leader of the Nation are awarded for one academic year. The winners received certificates and badges.

Besides, the winners had a tour at the building of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
