A round-table discussion entitled “RK Constitution as the Basis for Further Development and Strengthening of Statehood” was held by the Department of Jurisprudence of S. Toraighyrov PSU in the office of the Pavlodar branch of Nur Otan NDP. It was attended by the teachers of the Department of Jurisprudence, Department of Sociology and Political Science, Department of History of S. Toraighyrov PSU, representatives of the Kazakh Union of Lawyers, Notary Chamber of the Pavlodar region, Department of Justice of the Pavlodar region, and Innovative University of Eurasia.
The Head of the Department of Jurisprudence of S. Toraighyrov PSU, Doctor of Juridical Sciences, Professor Gulnara Akhmedzhanova noted in her opening speech that following the Constitution is the basis for a successful development of the State and civil accord and hence the prosperous future of the country.
The Deputy Chairman of the Pavlodar branch of Nur Otan NDP, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Professor and Maslikhat Deputy Arman Yeshmuratov congratulated everybody on the upcoming holiday: “The Constitution has cemented our main values: independence, peace and stability. The duty of all state institutes and each citizen of our country is to be on guard of these values”.
During this round-table meeting, the following problems were discussed: the basic features and characteristics of the RK constitution, constitutional guarantees of the rights of citizens for education and research activities, the role of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the constitutional development of the Republic, etc.
Moderator of the round-table meeting, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Jurisprudence, Nursulun Musabekova noted that a comparative analysis of Kazakhstan, European and Russian constitutions was held.
This round-table meeting allowed the participants to exchange opinions on further consideration of the Constitution, its development problems at the present stage. In this connection, a suggestion was made to conduct such meetings on a regular basis.
