In honor of the Day of the State Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Toraighyrov University organized a round table discussion titled "The Spirit of Symbols — The Power of the Constitution."
The main objective of the event was to widely promote the significance of state symbols among young people, popularize constitutional values, and shape a culture of civic responsibility. During the round table, the participants highlighted the role of state symbols in strengthening national identity and preserving social consensus and national unity, while comprehensively discussing the role of the Constitution in developing a legal state and civil society.
The keynote speakers at the event included Arman Aitmukhametovich Akishev, Head of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan Department; Altyngul Abaevna Kaskabasova, Senior Lecturer of the History of Kazakhstan Department; Aizhan Temirbolatovna Serikbaeva, Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences; and Dinara Aitbaikyzy Sundet, a 3rd-year student and Student Senator of Toraighyrov University.
During the meeting, the presenters focused on the historical, cultural, and spiritual meaning of the state symbols, emphasizing the importance of the Constitution in ensuring the rule of law and protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens. Furthermore, a meaningful exchange of views took place regarding the improvement of legal literacy among youth, the strengthening of patriotic values, and the formation of an active civic stance.
The round table served as an important platform that provided participants with the opportunity to discuss topical issues, exchange experiences, and establish an open dialogue around socially significant values.
