As part of the "Digital Nauryz" decade at Toraighyrov University, the Faculty of Economics and Law organized a series of festive events dedicated to the Day of Culture and National Traditions.

The celebration began with a warm and hospitable welcome from the faculty staff. Colleagues and students were greeted with traditional treats — baursaks and the signature dish of the holiday, Nauryz-kozhe. Guests experienced a unique festive atmosphere rooted in unity and respect for national heritage.

Within the framework of the events, the Department of Jurisprudence held an open advisory hour titled "The Court of Biys." During the session, students learned about the significance of the Biy institute in the traditional legal system of Kazakh society, their justice-based decisions, and their role in public life.

A creative contest called "Baursak Party" was also organized as part of the program. According to the rules, all university faculties prepared festive tables (dastarkhan) featuring national dishes, demonstrating their skills in decorating and presenting baursaks. Participants showcased a creative approach and aesthetic flair in serving national cuisine.

One of the highlights that enriched the program was a theatrical performance of the "Betashar" ceremony, presented by the Department of Finance and Accounting. The performance depicted the bride's introduction to the groom's relatives and the profound meaning of the "Ak Bata" (white blessing) for the new family. Additionally, university staff were introduced to another meaningful Kazakh tradition — the "Kelin Shai" (daughter-in-law's tea ceremony).

At the end of the event, the Faculty of Economics and Law passed the "Nauryznama" festive relay to the Faculty of Natural Sciences. This educational event is undoubtedly aimed at promoting the importance of national culture and traditions, as well as fostering spiritual values within the university community. Happy upcoming Nauryz!
