The updated laboratory facilities of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Standardization were presented at Toraighyrov University.

The new laboratory is being established as a modern educational environment aimed at training specialists who are in demand amid the technological development of the country’s mechanical engineering industry. Moreover, it enables the preparation of competitive professionals in line with the needs of enterprises in the Pavlodar region. The infrastructure development is being implemented through grant funding, strategic partnerships, and the project to establish an Advanced Engineering School (BES) in the field of Mechanical Engineering.

Over the course of a year, the university has created a modern specialized laboratory focused on practice-oriented student training, taking into account the actual standards of industrial enterprises. The laboratory complex is equipped with CNC machines and specialized technological equipment. This allows students to master up-to-date metalworking technologies and develop professional competencies that are in demand in the labor market.

Within the framework of program-targeted funding for a project aimed at developing tooling support for Kazakhstan’s manufacturing industries, the university acquired modern technological equipment.

The computer fleet has been upgraded, and specialized software simulating machining processes on modern CNC machines has been installed. This ensures the integration of digital solutions into the educational process and creates conditions for modeling the processing of modern machine parts and equipment.

In the context of the rapid development of artificial intelligence and digital technologies, the strategic importance of the engineering profession is increasing. Engineers ensure the development, implementation, and support of high-tech solutions and effectively integrate digital tools into industrial production.
