The National Erasmus+ Office in Kazakhstan (NEO KZ) held a cluster meeting focused on the impact of Erasmus+ projects on the development of higher education in the fields of environmental protection and natural resource management. The event took place at Esil University in Astana and was held in a hybrid format.

 

 

Toraighyrov University was represented at the meeting by Bibigul Akshulakova, Head of the Center for International Cooperation, who emphasized the importance of university participation in Erasmus+ projects for updating educational programs, promoting sustainable development, and expanding international cooperation.

 

 

The meeting aimed to promote and disseminate the results of completed and ongoing Erasmus+ projects, assess their impact at individual, institutional, and national levels, strengthen synergy between projects, enhance networking, and develop recommendations for future initiatives in environmental education.

 

 

As a result of the meeting, it was noted that Erasmus+ projects contribute to improving the quality of teaching, developing interdisciplinary approaches, introducing digital tools, and strengthening the capacity of universities. Particular attention was given to issues such as water resource management, climate resilience, biodiversity conservation, and the development of green technologies.

 

 

The cluster meeting served as an important platform for professional dialogue and for shaping a shared vision for the further development of Erasmus+ initiatives in the field of ecology and sustainable development.
