Toraighyrov University hosted the "Kazakhstan Dostyk Mekeni" Dialogue Platform, organized as part of the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.
The event aimed to strengthen intercultural interaction, develop dialogue, and support international students studying in the Pavlodar Region.
Among the participants were international students from colleges and universities in the region, representatives of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan and ethnocultural associations, employees of the Police Department, as well as intercultural communication experts and educators. The event discussed issues related to student integration into the educational and social environment, improving legal literacy, youth participation in social and cultural projects, developing a culture of tolerance, and crime prevention.
The participants heard insightful presentations. Ramil Smailov, Deputy Chairman of the APK of the Pavlodar Region, spoke about the Assembly's activities and youth initiatives. Bakhytzhamal Maksilova, Chair of the APK Mothers' Council, emphasized the importance of hospitality traditions and the role of the council in strengthening interethnic unity. Vasily Rak, Acting Chairman of the Aksakals Council, noted the importance of hard work in developing a competitive personality. Ayan Anishev, Detective Officer of the Pavlodar Police Department, explained key legal requirements and the importance of law and order for student safety.
The dialogue platform provided an open forum for international students to ask questions, share experiences, and discuss current issues with representatives of government agencies and the APK. The event aims to further strengthen the atmosphere of friendship and harmony in the region.
