Five students of Toraighyrov University became recipients of named scholarships from the private foundation “AVC Charitable Foundation.”

A welcoming address was delivered by the Acting Chairman of the Board – Rector of Toraighyrov University, Nurlan Yerzhanov.

“We are always happy to collaborate in ways that allow our students to gain new knowledge and skills. The charitable support from the AVC Foundation opens up unique opportunities for their academic and professional growth. AVC Group is today a leading Kazakh EPC company in the oil and gas and petroleum refining industries. Internships and potential future employment – all of this will help students adapt more quickly to the demands of the modern labor market,” noted Nurlan Yerzhanov.

It should be recalled that in August of this year, Toraighyrov University and the foundation signed a memorandum of cooperation. The private foundation, AVC Charitable Foundation, launched a scholarship program under which the best students from the second to fourth years of Toraighyrov University, selected through a competitive process, will receive a scholarship for ten months, starting from September 1.

It is noteworthy that the AVC Charitable Foundation plans to mentor students – sending them on internships, interacting with scholarship recipients as mentors and advisors.

Named certificates were presented by the Acting Administrative Director of the AVC Group branch in Pavlodar, Alihan Abildinov. He spoke about the foundation’s scholarship program as well as plans for 2025.
