A roundtable discussion on the environmental aspects of forming a positive image for industrial product manufacturers was held at ToU.

Representatives from various sectors met at the event, including industrial companies such as Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant and Kazakhstan Aluminium, trade and business organizations such as Sady Pridonya and AgroPromPv, agricultural enterprises from the Uspen District, non-governmental organizations such as ECOM and the Civil Alliance of Pavlodar Oblast Association, and government agencies such as the Department of Land Resources Management of Pavlodar Oblast and the Ecology Department of Pavlodar Oblast. In addition, leading research organizations, namely the Institute of Economic Research (ERI) in Astana and the Omsk Scientific Center of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, a partner of ToU in the framework of the AP19676924 project "Development of technology and promotion of environmental branding of the regional industrial complex" (grant funding from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan), joined the discussion online.

The participants discussed projects for the environmental modernization of industrial and agro-industrial enterprises in Pavlodar Oblast, and familiarized themselves with the results of a sociological survey on ESG transformation and environmental branding of the industrial complex. The research team of the Department of Economics and other participants of the roundtable discussion agreed to continue their cooperation.
