A grand opening of an lecture room  took place at Toraighyrov University in honor of Doctor of Technical Sciences, Academician of the International Academy of Informatization, Honorary Worker of Education Abylkhan Karakayev.

 - I am very glad that universities remember their veterans and name lecture and laboratory halls after them.  In this way, we remind young people of our heroes, whose work helps our society develop.  Today we opened a lecture room named after Abylkhan Karakayev.  His name is included in the Golden Book of Honor of the Kazakh SSR for achievements in scientific and pedagogical activities.  The scientist was awarded the badges “Honorary Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, “For Contribution to the Development of Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan”.  He did a lot not only for Toraighyrov University, but also for the development of domestic science as a whole.

 In addition, Abylkhan Kosmurzaevich is the author of more than 1000 scientific, educational, methodological and other publications, three monographs, 20 textbooks.  He is a holder of 90 copyright certificates and patents of the USSR, Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan (25 patents, 16 preliminary and 20 innovative patents of the Republic of Kazakhstan).  For outstanding achievements, for fundamental and applied research in the field of science, for numerous works, Professor Abylkhan Karakayev was awarded the honorary title “Kazakhstan enbek sinirgen kairatkeri”.  He is the owner of a grant and the sign “The best teacher of the university of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, he was awarded the honorary title “Honorary Inventor of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, an outstanding graduate of  N.E.  Bauman MSTU. .
