Toraighyrov University has developed 12 innovative educational programs in fields that are relevant and in demand on the labor market: mechanical engineering and reverse engineering, industrial robotics and automation, metallurgy and recycling, predictive diagnostics of technological equipment, energy management, urban studies and territorial development, biology and kinesiology, agroecology,  transport engineering and autotronics, chemical technology of natural energy carriers, petrochemicals and polymers, food engineering and technological nutrition and blockchain engineering.

It should be noted that in 2022 Toraighyrov University became the first university in Kazakhstan to launch the first 2 innovative educational programs.

 - In total, there are about 200 directions in the university's portfolio, including 12 absolutely new ones, which are developed according to the Atlas of new professions.  Thus, we offer to get a truly relevant and competitive profession at our university.  One of the important conditions for the success of the IEP will be the participation  of large enterprises in the region in the educational process, as well as small and medium-sized businesses.  After all,  some of our future graduates will work in the local market, - said the rector of the university Yerkin Sadykov.

 Distinctive features of innovative educational programs are the coordination of disciplines with the curricula of foreign partner universities, training in the main (major) and additional (minor-) micro-qualification programs for the student's choice with certification in relevant professions together with partner enterprises during the learning process, dual training  and early employment at the enterprise, transition to project-based training and training on the cases of partner enterprises at the level of special disciplines, etc.
