Specialized accreditation Specialized accreditation – a procedure for assessing the quality of individual educational programs implemented by the university for compliance with established professional and sectoral standards.
| Accreditation of Educational Programs: A Guarantee of Education Quality Accreditation is a procedure of official confirmation that a university’s educational activities comply with established national and international quality standards. Successfully passing accreditation confirms a high level of specialist training and the reliability of the educational institution. In the modern higher education system, two key types of accreditation are distinguished: The importance of accreditation for universities: - International recognition and confirmation of guarantees of high-quality education and services in compliance with international requirements; - Increased attractiveness of the university and greater trust from key stakeholders in the effectiveness and efficiency of implemented educational programs; - Broad integration into the global educational space and access to the international education market; - Enhancement of reputation and strengthening of competitive positions in the national and international education markets. The importance of accreditation for students: - Participation in various academic mobility programs with foreign partner universities with credit transfer; - Admission to foreign universities for master’s and doctoral programs; - Increased competitiveness of graduates in both national and international labor markets, as well as employment in their field of study domestically and abroad. In December 2023, the University successfully passed re-accreditation within the framework of international institutional accreditation for a period of five years by the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR) (Certificate No. АА 0256 dated December 8, 2023). Toraighyrov University cooperates with leading accreditation agencies such as NAOKO, IAAR, ARQA, and CAEAA. The Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA) was established in 2008 and is the first Kazakhstani non-profit, non-governmental organization specializing in the assessment of the quality of educational institutions and programs. The Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR) is a leading international accreditation agency for quality assurance in education (founded in 2011). The Central Asian Association for Accreditation of Education (CAEAA) conducts institutional and program accreditation of higher education institutions in Kazakhstan and abroad, assessing quality assurance systems in education (founded in 2007). The Independent Agency for Accreditation and Quality Expertise in Education (ARQA) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established in 2015 with the aim of contributing to the development of the education quality assurance system through institutional and specialized (program) accreditation of educational organizations.
