Director of the Scientific and Practical Center for a Complex Study of Personality - R.N. Koshenova R. Koshenova was born in Atasu village of Zhana-Arka district of Karaganda region on October 2, 1952. She graduated from Kazakh State Women Pedagogical Institute (the Faculty of Philology) in 1973. She started her career as a teacher of the Russian language and literature at the secondary school named after Nikitin in Turkestan, South-Kazakhstan region. She worked in the system of staff professional development at Kazmintyazhstroy; then at the local and Central institutes of teachers professional development of Almaty and the republic (1977-1995). She defended her thesis for the degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences in 1995. Head of the Department of Social Disciplines and Humanities at Kazakhstan Institute of Economics and Law (1995-2003). PhD student at the Faculty of Philosophy of Al Farabi KazNU (2003-2005). Editor at the “Kazakhstan” TV and Radio Corporation, author and host of national literary programs “Hello, Pushkin!” and “Alka” (since 2003). Rector of Almaty Institute of Humanities and Economics, Vice Rector for Extracurricular Work at Kazakh Leading Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering (2005-2006). Head of the Department of Philosophy at KSU named after Sh. Ualikhanov (2006-2011). Professor of Kokshe Academy (July 2011 - present). She defended her doctoral thesis entitled "Cultural and Historical Portrait of Imanzhusup as a Сulturological Problem" in 24.00.01 - Theory and History of Culture at KazNU named after Al-Farabi (February 2010). For the first time, a complex model of cultural and historical portrait as a cultural phenomenon was developed. She was awarded the "Excellence in Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan" badge in 1992. Researcher of the works by repressed scientists and artists. Journalist, writer and translator. Author of monographs, learning aids: Returned Names (1996); Magzhan Zhumabayev at School (1997); programs in Kazakh literature (1998); Let's Talk, Let's Play (1998); Hello, Pushkin (1999); How to Find a Resort in This World (in Kazakh) (2000); Imanzhusup (2001); Leo Constellation (2002); The Tops Ahead (2003); The Tops Ahead (2004); Culture and Language (2008); Repressions Age Portraits (2008); The Cultural and Historical Portrait of Imanzhusup (2010); 20 Years of Independence: History in Persons (2011). Author of over 200 articles on culture and education. She took the third place for the book entitled Culture and Language at the National Contest of Textbooks and Learning Aids. She is a member of the International Pushkin House, the Chairman of Shokan Philosophy Club, member of the Gibrat club, the Head of the regional information and agitational Akmola branch of NurOtan party. The author and coordinator of the international project Road to Shokan, director of the Scientific and Practical Center for a Complex Study of Personality. |
