This year, according to requests from rural entrepreneurs, from March 2 to 6, we plan to organize training courses on the basis of the Center for advanced training and the Research Institute of Agro-Innovation and Biotechnology of Pavlodar State University:

"Technician for artificial insemination of farm animals";

"Organization and conduct of an assessment of the breeding value of fat-tailed sheep (valuation)";

“Organization and conduct of an assessment of the breeding value of cattle of the dairy direction of productivity (valuation)”;

"Organization and conduct of an assessment of the breeding value of cattle in meat-type of productivity (valuation)."

Courses for students will be conducted by scientists and practitioners: doctors and candidates of agricultural sciences engaged in artificial insemination of animals and transplantation of embryos in the farms of the region. The practical part of the courses will be held on the basis of advanced farms in the region. At the end of the courses, after a test evaluation of the knowledge gained, appropriate certificates will be awarded.

International Summer School "Fuel and energy complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan" for students and Master's degree student at S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University July 13-20, 2020

The fuel and energy complex plays a key role in the economic and social well-being of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan has the richest resources of oil, gas, coal, uranium and renewable energy sources. Revenues from the sale of products of the fuel and energy complex allow to develop Kazakhstan infrastructure actively, to transfer of advanced technologies, contribute to the innovative development of the economy, guarantee the employment of a significant part of the able-bodied population, and promote the development of the social sphere.

The participants of the Summer School will get acquainted with the main enterprises of the Fuel and Energy Complex of Pavlodar Region:

- oil refining companies ("Pavlodar Oil Chemistry Refinery" LLP, "Neftekhim ltd" LLP, UPNK-PV LLP);

- energy companies ("Eurasian Energy Corporation" JSC, "PavlodarEnergo" LLP, Ekibastuz State District Power Station).

In addition, the Summer School program includes:

- Practical lectures by university teachers, master classes by leading specialists from enterprises, entrepreneurship training;

- solution of business cases in areas with practical application at the enterprises of the fuel and energy complex of Pavlodar region, joint workshops at the International Start Up Academy of S. Toraighyrov PSU *;

- a sightseeing tour of the sights of the city of Pavlodar, the sacred places of Bayanaul.

The cost of participation in the International Summer School is 10,000 Russian rubles (160 US dollars), including accommodation, breakfast, city transfer.

Upon completion of the International Summer School, participants will receive Certificates, university souvenirs.

We are pleased to offer scholarships for studies or research in Latvian higher education and research institutions during the academic year 2020/2021 as well as for participation in summer schools organized by Latvian higher education institutions.

The call for applications for the Latvian state study and research scholarships for the academic year 2020/2021 and for the summer 2020 will be open on 1 February 2020.

All relevant information is published on the website of the State Education Development Agency http://www.viaa.gov.lv/scholarships (Section «Studies» and «Research», Section «Summer Schools”).

The application deadline for the Latvian state scholarships is 1 April 2020.

A competition is announced under the program Academic mobility for students of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd courses for studying in the autumn semester of the 2020-2021 academic year at a foreign university (European countries) at the expense of state financing. The main criterion for competitive selection is high academic performance (should not be “Satisfactory” marks) for the entire period of study.

Applicants submit the following documents:

1) a copy of the passport of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan; in the absence of a passport, provide a copy of an identity card;

2) a transcript of academic performance;

3) a document confirming the level of knowledge of a foreign language (the applicant provides one of the following documents):

a) a certificate obtained through international systems for assessing knowledge of a foreign language (IELTS, TOEFL), if any;

b) A letter of consent of a foreign university to accept a student with an existing level of a foreign language;

c) test result of a Kazakhstani university (not lower than B2 level);

* In the absence of the document specified in paragraph a) or b), the student can take an English test at the Center for Academic Mobility on February 11, 2020 at 15.30 (room 260).

4) the written consent of the parents, guardians, legal representatives of the applicant for traveling abroad, if he does not reach the age of 18 at the time of departure from the Republic of Kazakhstan;

5) a document on the composition of the family, to confirm the large families of the student;

6) a document confirming the student’s absence of parents (for the category of students belonging to orphans or students left without parental care);

7) a document confirming the student’s disability.
