The Ministries of Agriculture of Kazakhstan and Germany are implementing a project to improve the skills of dairy farmers.

Local consulting is provided under the guidance of German and Kazakh experts and the possibility of long-term internships in Germany.

The German side of the Project is the consulting organizations GFA Consulting Group GmbH, ADT Project Consulting GmbH and IAK Agrar Consulting GmbH.

Kazakhstani executors are Kazakh Research Institute of Livestock and Forage Production LLP and Agrarian Credit Corporation JSC.

16 dairy farms were selected among about 100 farms in Akmola, Kostanay, North Kazakhstan and Pavlodar regions.In the Pavlodar region, German companies are closely cooperating with four farms: “Agro-Damu” LLP, “Sergey” farming, “Konvisher” LLP and “Sharov” farming.

On the day before, the representative of the German company Uwe Veddige and the director of the Research Institute “Agro-Innovation and Biotechnology” of Toraighyrov University Kairulla Akhazhanov held a seminar on the basis of the farm “Sergey” for the farmers of the region.

They talked about the correct processing of cattle hooves, the registration of lame cattle, its prevention and treatment.

The cooperation is designed for 2019-2023 and is aimed at attracting investors to the dairy industry in Kazakhstan.
