Presentation! Scientific-bibliographic department of the Scientific Library. Acad. S. Beisembaeva compiled a presentation of bibliographical aids "Index to newspapers"Knowledge "and" Bіlіk "PSU after Toraigyrov ", in the 50 th anniversary of the university.

The presentation took place on the 18 and 23 November 2010, its participants were first-year students of faculties of history and law, philology, journalism and the arts.

Presenter - bibliographer Gulzhan Rayhanovna Usenova familiarized the students with the history of the university newspaper "Knowledge", "Bіlіk. G.R.Usenova, the presenter of the newspaper "Knowledge " told about currently news of the university life, career-oriented nature of the material, the achievements of students and different problems in education. Headed paper and its reporters were people who were employees of the university. Students have taken the active participation in the work of newspapers. Thanks to them, appeared heading "The themes of morality, " "achievement is the main thing!" etc.

The newspaper Bіlіk "in Russian and Kazakh languages began to publish since April 2001 on the initiative of the Rector of PSU in the name of Toraigyrov E.M. Aryn since April 2001. The newspaper Bіlіk , keeping the best traditions of the newspaper "Knowledge". became the Information body of PSU after Toraigyrov,". The first editor of the university newspaper "Bіlіk “ became a graduate of Philology Rashid Hisamudinov. Achievements of faculty and students of the university, scientific and practical conferences and activities of an educational nature publicized on the pages of the university newspaper.

Officials of scientific-bibliographic department had prepared the Index to newspapers "Knowledge " and "Bіlіk",taken into account that newspapers are a historical source, studying the history of our university, the purpose of its preparation lead. Gulzhan Rayhanovna familiarized students with the structure of the index, and noted that it could become an assistant in the professional training of students, as future historians and future philologists and journalists.
