HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Architecture and Design was founded in 2003. From 2001 to 2003, the programs in Architecture and Design were offered by the Department of Urban Planning and Facilities Development headed by Candidate of Engineering Sciences, Professor V.I. Danilov. The first Head of the Department of Architecture and Design was Candidate of Physico-mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor V.N. Ukrainets.
The Bachelor’s programs in 5В042000 Architecture and 5В042100 Design have been available since 2004 based on the license AA No. 0000038 issued on April 26, 2004.
Duration of studies for the Bachelor’s programs in 050420 Architecture, 5В042100 Design and 5В010700 Fine Arts and Drawing is 5 years. The training process is carried out in accordance with the State Compulsory Standard of Higher Education approved by the decree of the Ministry of Education of Kazakhstan No. 671 on August 7, 2004. Qualification awarded upon graduation: Architect, Designer.
Candidate of Pedagogic Sciences, Associate Professor of Pavlodar State University Zh.A. Temerbayeva was in charge of the Department from 2008 to 2013.
Since 2013, the Department is headed by Candidate of Engineering Sciences, Associate Professor of Pavlodar State University L.L. Bulyga.
Tuition languages: Kazakh and Russian.
