A round table was held at Toraighyrov University to sum up the results of the implementation of the "Youth and Law" project.
 Member of the Board for Research and International Cooperation Nurlan Yerzhanov delivered an introductory speech.

The event was attended by representatives of the prosecutor's office and the Department of Education of the region.

 - You know that according to our memorandum of cooperation, the "Youth and Law" project was launched.  Today, we are talking about the implementation of the project, in which Toraighyrov University was the first to take part, for which we express our gratitude to it.  Any preventive work should include the work of not only authorities, but also citizens.  I hope that further our cooperation will continue not only within the framework of one project, - said Batyr Korganbayev, head of the criminal prosecution department of the Pavlodar region prosecutor's office.

 Senior Prosecutor of the Department, Junior Counselor of Justice Rinat Tokushev, made a report on the goals and objectives of the "Youth and Law" project.

 - The objectives of the project are the prevention of offences among minors and students, increasing legal responsibility.  The tasks are to increase responsibility and patriotism among young people, as well as to develop a civic position.  It is worth noting that the active work of Toraighyrov University has contributed to reducing the number of drug-related crimes, - said Rinat Tokushev.

 The head of the Department of Personal Development and Education, Rakhila Aubakirova, made a presentation on the survey of students under the project "Youth and Law".  The department developed a questionnaire "Attitude towards drug addiction" of 21 questions.  More than 6 thousand students from 8 faculties were surveyed.

Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Law Yury Kolesnikov spoke about the work done by students and teachers in the framework of the project.  Meetings were held on the prevention of drug addiction, debate tournaments among schoolchildren and students, and the film "The Judgment Is Coming" was shot.  In the classroom, a role-playing game is used to prevent drug addiction.

 In addition, teachers and students of the university were awarded with letters of thanks for their active preventive work.
